Mr. Paradis graduated from Grand Valley State University’s Graduate Teaching Certification program in 2013. While in college, Mr. Paradis had the opportunity tutor at Innovation Central High School and right here at West Michigan Aviation Academy! He conducted his student teaching at North Rockford Middle School working with 7th and 8th graders. At WMAA, Mr. Paradis teaches the Computer Science classes as well as the Intro to Robotics class.
In addition to his teaching degree, he holds a Bachelors of Science in business management and Japan studies from Montana State University. Mr. Paradis’ goal as an educator is to meet the individual and group needs of his students in ways that support and challenge them in order to foster the greatest intellectual, social, and emotional growth. He also strives to create a safe and team-oriented community where all people feel acceptance and belonging. Outside of work he enjoys reading, biking, tennis, golf, and spending time with his wife.
